East Coast House Established

So far it's been determined that the Consortium arrived well after the establishment of the United states.... Here's a brief write up that anyone can see engraved on a plaque under the large oak tree in front of the administration house; your character would have read, or at least seen, this plaque if he or she received a tour of the grounds. We'll be building on this history in time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The First house originally named The North Continent Center was established in 1855. It was later renamed in 1900 to the East Coast House - North American Headquarters. This was done following the establishment of the Central House in Kansas, the Atlantic House in Florida and the Southern House in Mississippi. These houses were opened in the 1890s.

The East Coast house rests on its original 2,000 acres in the north region of New York State. This property has been with the Consortium since the original purchase in 1847. It took 8 years to design, build, and finally establish the first collection of buildings. These consisted of the main house, a small one room school, a black smith and Ferrier station connected to an enclosed stable. This stable was capable of housing 12 horses at any given time.

The only portion that remains standing in 2005 is the main house. The 3 story, 8 bedroom structure sitting in the center of the property, currently houses the administrative offices. It has been updated to reflect the current structural regulations and necessary security precautions. The Manor House also boasts an incredible flower garden which caters to a collection of fauna allowing for blooms throughout most of the year.

Pictures of the original structures and individuals can be found in the parlor just inside the Manor House front doors. The painting above the large marble fireplace is that of the Consortium's North American Founder and first Magistrate Collin Harper McMicheal 1821- 1877.
